Assalamu Aleykum wa Rahmatullah my dear sister,
How are you or as a sister asked me the other day ‘how is your heart?’ 🤎
My response to her was “Sis, I am in a beautiful state of gratitude lately Alhamdulillah!”

What I learned lately is that nothing on the outside needs to change for me to feel grateful. When I am intentional about focusing on the good and on the blessings and favors upon me, I naturally develop a sense of gratitude and feel better for it. Alhamdulillah. This is exactly what I have been doing these past ten days with a group of beautiful sisters. I hosted a 10 day gratitude challenge and it was an amazing experience maa shaa Allah.

We intentionally remembered our blessings, spent some time journaling and writing down some of the blessings we take for granted and shared some of them with each other and on social media to inspire one another. We also revisited on a daily basis, the amazing book of Ibnul Qayyim ‘Patience and Gratitude’ and shared some of the points from the book that resonated with us.

All of that work helped us refocus our mind on the countless favors of Allah Azza Wajal upon us and when you do that, my dear sister, when you focus on the good, you can’t help but feel better. Sisters really loved the challenge for that very reason.

❤️❤️❤️ Eid Mubarak! جزاك اللهُ خيرًا

Alhamdulilah for this sisterhood, you lot increase me in strength to strive harder in getting close to Allah. You all are my perfumers. Really grateful for. So far this is my favorite chapter as a lot of reward is associated with being patient. Point 7 mention Allah will reward those who have patience with 3 fold rewards, guidance, blessing and mercy. Subhaanallah how great is this, with this 3 I can only be a winner. Insha Allah this will stick with me for whenever I find myself not being patient and also to remind others about it. These Audios are great sister Binta May you be rewarded immensely for it Aameen. Sister Adiatu
